MADISON, N.J. – Senior
Edward Zappile (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) was a triple winner as the William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (6-2) defeated host FDU-Florham (1-6), 92-75, Dec. 6.
Zappile posted victories in the 100 (53.50), 200 (1:57.51) and 500 (5:35.17) frees. Junior
Sebastian Schrils (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) touched first in the 50 free (23.32) and 100 fly (58.48), and sophomore
Jason Koros (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest) finished first in the 200 IM (2:14.25) and 100 back (58.23). Freshman
Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) won the 100 breast (1:07.17), and sophomore
Alex Carpenter (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) took first in the 1,000 free (11:30.65).
William Paterson will compete at Adelphi Saturday, Dec. 10, at 1:00 p.m.
