GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (6-3) suffered a 56-39 loss at Division II Adelphi (6-1) Dec. 10.

Senior Brian Birkbeck (Absecon, N.J./Holy Spirit) scored a victory in the 200 free (1:56.29), while the 200 free relay of Ryan Napolitano (Milltown, N.J./St. Joseph), Edward Zappile (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.), Evan Marine (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp.) and Mike Paliukaitis (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) touched first with a time of 1:36.07.

William Paterson will return to action Wednesday, Jan. 18, hosting Queens at 6:00 p.m.
