THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – Senior Edward Zappile (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) was a triple winner to lead the William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (3-1) to a 116-99 victory at Maritime (0-1) Nov. 2.

Zappile posted wins in the 200 (1:55.83), 500 (5:15.96) and 1,000 (11:14.76) frees.  Sophomore Jason Koros (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest) touched first in the 100 back (56.43) and 200 IM (2:10.16), and freshman Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) posted a victory in the 100 breast (1:05.5).  Sophomore Jeffrey Jaeckel (Kenilworth, N.J./David Brearley) won the three-meter dive (175.65).

William Paterson will compete at Marywood Sunday, Nov. 6, at 1:00 p.m.
