CAMDEN, N.J. – The No. 22/22 William Paterson women's basketball team (16-2, 6-1 NJAC) used a 31-11 advantage in points off turnovers and a 21-14 edge in second-chance points to produce a 74-62 win at Rutgers-Camden (7-11, 1-7 NJAC) Jan. 22.

April Smith (Barnegat, N.J./Southern Regional) produced her 13th double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while sophomore forward
Tatiana Javis (Newark, N.J./ Bloomfield Tech) added 10 points off the bench.
William Paterson took early control of the contest with an 18-0 run that gave the Pioneers a 37-17 lead with 2:18 remaining in the first half. WP turned 11 Scarlet Raptor first-half turnovers into 16-0 edge in points scored off the miscues, and owned a 37-22 halftime lead.
The Pioneers' winning margin of 12 points was the smallest of the second half for William Paterson, as WP went up by as many as 29 (53-24, 15:04) during the final period.
Samantha Bragg led Rutgers-Camden with 19 points. Brittany Turner added 15 tallies, and Alyce Milakovic pulled down a team-best seven rebounds.
William Paterson will host Drew Monday, Jan. 24, at 7:00 p.m.
