NEW YORK, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's basketball team (8-2) opened up a 32-point halftime lead en route to an easy 77-43 victory at Hunter (3-7) Dec. 29.

William Paterson's lead ballooned to as many as 35 (67-32, 9:03) midway through the second half. Smith finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds, Palmer collected 13 tallies and 12 boards, and sophomore guard
Lindsey Callander (Branchburg, N.J./Somerville) posted 15 points. Sophomore forward

William Paterson will take on Frostburg State in the first round of the Starters/Moravian Classic Sunday, Jan. 2, at 1:00 p.m.
