PITMAN, N.J. – William Paterson senior cornerback Leer Biddle (Sicklerville, N.J./Lenape) was named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Football All-Defense First Team, leading a list of seven Pioneer honorees announced Nov. 19.

Junior bandit Doug Dudek (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) and senior defensive end Dyon Moore (Brooklyn, N.Y./Hudson Catholic) were selected to the All-Defense Second Team. Sophomore Chris Manfredo (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville), junior wide receiver Joe Muraglia, Jr. (Belleville, N.J./Queen of Peace), senior right tackle Chris Osborn (Dunellen, N.J./Dunellen) and senior defensive end Dan Nunez (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J./Paramus Catholic) were honorable-mention honorees.

A two-time second-team all-NJAC selection (2008-09), Biddle made 38 tackles (26 solo) while starting all 10 games this season. He paced the Pioneers with four blocked kicks, adding four pass breakups, a fumble forced and a 22-yard fumble return for a touchdown (vs. Montclair State, 11/13/10). A starter in all 40 games during his career, he registered 158 tackles (127 solo, 4.5 for loss), eight interceptions, 21 pass breakups, one fumble forced and two fumbles recovered.

Dudek, the 2008 NJAC Rookie of the Year and a member of the 2009 All-NJAC Second Team and the 2008 All-NJAC Honorable Mention Team, led the Pioneers with 75 tackles (28 solo) and 8.0 tackles-for-loss. Also tied for the team high with three interceptions and two fumble recoveries, he added a blocked kick, 1.5 sacks and four pass breakups this fall. Ranked 12th in the NJAC in tackles (7.5 per game) and tied for ninth in fumbles recovered/game (0.20), tied for 10th in interceptions/game (0.30) and tied for 13th in passes defended/game (0.70), Dudek has started 26 of 29 career games and has posted 168 tackles (70 solo, 19.5 for loss, 4.0 sacks), five interceptions, 12 pass breakups, three fumbles recovered and one fumble forced.

Named to the 2008 and 2009 All-NJAC Second Teams, Moore started in nine of 10 games this season and ranked second for the Pioneers with 63 tackles (24 solo) and 7.5 stops for a loss. Also contributing 1.5 sacks and two pass breakups, Moore started 25 of 29 career games and collected 190 tackles (77 solo, 33.0 for loss, 7.5 sacks), five fumbles forced, four fumbles recovered, and three pass breakups.

Manfredo started two of nine games and ranked second on the team with 32 receptions and 393 yards. After seeing the field in just one contest as a freshman a year ago, he was ninth in the NJAC in receptions/game (3.6) and 12th in receiving yards/game (43.7).

Muraglia was a first-time all-conference honoree after leading the Pioneers with 45 catches, 442 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Also averaging 9.6 yards per punt return and 17.9 yards per kickoff return, Muraglia ranked fifth in the NJAC in receptions/game (4.5) and 11th in receiving yards/game (44.2). He has started 11 of 21 games at William Paterson and has 58 receptions, 601 yards and three scores.

Osborn, an honorable-mention all-conference selection in 2009, started nine games at right tackle for the Pioneers this fall. A starter in all 10 contests as a junior and nine games as a sophomore, he appeared in 30 career contests, starting 28 times.

Nunez started in eight of nine games this fall and made 38 tackles (nine solo, 4.5 for loss, 1.0 sack) while breaking up a pass. A starter in 19 of 30 career contests, he posted totals of 88 tackles (38 solo, 17.5 for loss, 9.0 sacks), three fumbles forced and five pass breakups.

William Paterson finished the season 4-6 overall and 3-6 in conference play.
