Edward Zappile (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) was a double winner, touching first in the 500 (5:24.33) and 1,000 (11:09.51) frees. Junior
Andrew Scimeca (Lincoln Park, N.J./Boonton) won the one-meter (149.85) and three-meter (157.67) dives, and senior
Voyta Karas (Brno, Czech Republic) finished first in the 100 (48.70) and 200 (1:52.26) frees.
Senior
Stefan Rosales (Rahway, N.J./St. Joseph's-Metuchen) won the 100 back (58.55), and the 200 medley relay team of Scimeca,
Mazen Yousef (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East),
Jeremy Lim (Clifton, N.J./Clifton) and
Alex Burdi (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) posted a winning time of 1:43.29.
The Pioneers will host NJIT Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 6:00 p.m.
