WAYNE, N.J. – Four double winners helped lead the William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (4-1) to a 108-53 victory against Arcadia (1-3) Nov. 19 at Wightman Pool.
Junior
Voyta Karas (Brno, Czech Republic) touched first in the 100 (49.21) and 200 (1:50.57) frees, while classmate
Kirk Smith (West Orange, N.J./West Orange) won the 200 IM (2:20.60) and 100 breast (1:11.10). Senior
David Caputo (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis) was the winner in the 500 (5:17.20) and 1,000 (10:58.82) frees, and senior
Michael O'Shea (Edgewater, N.J./Leonia) finished first in the one-meter (182.92) and three-meter (175.80) dives. Junior
Stefan Rosales (Rahway, N.J./St. Joseph's-Metuchen) was the winner in the 100 back (59.75), and sophomore
Evan Seftel (Montville, N.J./Montville) finished first in the 50 free (22.95).
William Paterson will return to action Tuesday, Dec. 2, at home against NJIT at 6:00 p.m.
