WILLOWBROOK, N.Y. – A 41-18 halftime lead led to an 81-58 victory for the William Paterson women's basketball team (9-2) at The College of Staten Island (3-6) Dec. 14.
The Pioneers jumped out to a 30-7 advantage and led 41-18 edge at the break as William Paterson held the Dolphins to 7-of-25 (.280) shooting in the first half, including a 20.0 (3-15) percent effort from beyond the arc. In 40 minutes, the Pioneer defense also caused 30 CSI turnovers, turning them into 34 points.
