WAYNE, N.J. - Junior guard CeCe Green was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Nov. 20, 2017.Â
Green was very impressive in her first week with the Orange and Black, averaging 7.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per contest. After making her debut with 23 minutes off the bench in the season-opener against Vassar, Green started both contests at the Emmanuel College Tip-Off Classic, helping the Pioneers claim the tournament’s 34th title.

On the weekend, Green averaged 28.5 minutes to go with nine points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Her defense was extremely impressive, averaging 2.5 steals over the two games while helping to shut down both Emmanuel and Gallaudet’s top scoring threats during the tournament. Â
