WAYNE, N.J. - Junior back Zach Perez was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Nov. 13, 2017.

Perez had a solid weekend for the Pioneer men's soccer team during the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Men's Soccer Championship. The junior played all 200 minutes of action on the back line, tallying his second goal of the season in the first round in a 4-0 triump against Brooklyn College. Senior Dante Petrocelli found Perez with a through ball to create a one-on-one opportunity with the goalkeeper, and a touch inside the right post gave WP a 4-0 lead in the first half.
