WAYNE, N.J. – Baseball freshman outfielder Steven DiGirolamo (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) was named the March 12 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
DiGirolamo batted .583 (7-12) during three games last week, producing four doubles, two RBI, three runs scored and a pair of stolen bases. He went 4-for-5 with three doubles, a steal, two runs and an RBI against Fredonia March 10, and finished a combined 3-for-7 during a doubleheader split March 11 against Franklin & Marshall, tallying a double, steal, RBI and run scored.
