WAYNE, N.J. – Volleyball junior outside hitter Alyson Toman was selected as the Sept. 17 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
Toman recorded 32 kills with a .293 hitting percentage during a 4-0 week for the Pioneers. She had eight kills Sept. 11 against King’s, a 3-0 win, then registered seven on only 17 attempts during a 3-0 victory over Purchase on Sept. 13.
On Sept. 15, Toman tallied 10 kills while hitting .474 in a sweep of Farmingdale State, and finished the week with seven kills during the Pioneer’s 3-0 win over Keystone.
Defensively for the week, Toman totaled 11 digs and two blocks.
