WAYNE, N.J. – Sophomore baseball relief pitcher Bryan Kopko (Colonia, N.J./Colonia) was selected as the April 4 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Kopko had three saves in three relief appearances, throwing a hitless 3.1 innings. With runners on the corners and two outs in the top of the ninth, he came in to record the final out of a 14-11 victory March 29 against Staten Island. Kopko then struck out one and walked one in 2.0 innings of work for his fourth save of the season in a 4-3 win at No. 8/10 Rutgers-Camden April 2. After WP rallied for four runs in the top of the ninth, he pitched the bottom half of the inning in an 8-7 victory during the night cap against the Scarlet Raptors.
