WAYNE, N.J. – Volleyball sophomore setter Kendall Caruso (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) was selected as the Sept. 19 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
Caruso averaged 7.73 assists, 2.45 digs and 0.64 service ace per set during a 3-1 week for the Pioneers. She had a double-double with 17 assists and 10 digs Sept. 13 against Kean, then collected 20 assists and four aces during a 3-0 victory at Purchase Sept. 15. On Sept. 17, Caruso notched 19 assists, seven digs and two aces in a 3-0 sweep at York (N.Y.), and had 29 assists and eight digs during a 3-0 win against Clarks Summit.
