WAYNE, N.J. – Volleyball senior opposite hitter Nicole Spicer (Whiting, N.J./Manchester Twp.) was selected as the Oct. 19 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.

Spicer averaged 3.00 kills and team bests of 4.17 digs and 2.33 service aces per set during two matches last week. During a 3-0 victory Oct. 13 at Sarah Lawrence, she posted seven kills, 11 digs and 13 aces, and in a three-set loss Oct. 15 against Rowan, she contributed 11 kills and 14 digs.
