WAYNE, N.J. – Women’s swimming sophomore Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) was named the Dec. 8 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.

Blazevska touched first in the 200 IM (2:34.18) and 100 breast (1:20.26) during a 92-59 victory Dec. 2 against Mount Saint Vincent. She was a triple winner Dec. 6 at Mount Saint Mary, finishing first in the 100 breast (1:11.04), 200 breast (2:33.28) and 200 IM (2:21.19).
