WAYNE, N.J. – Tennis senior Jessica Daniels (Edison, N.J./Edison) was named the Oct. 6 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Daniels was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at second singles over Naylah Hinton, and combined with freshman Stephanie Doot (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) for an 8-3 third-doubles victory against Alyssa Peterson and Andrea Mendez, during a 5-4 team win at Kean Oct. 1. Daniels then won the Flight A Consolation title at the NJAIAW Tournament Oct. 4-5 with an 8-2 victory against Kean's Erin Hendricks.
