WAYNE, N.J. – Senior designated hitter Trevor Haughney (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) was named the May 5 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Haughney hit .500 (6-12) with two RBI and two runs scored during three New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament games last week. During an 8-3 second-round win at fifth-seeded The College of New Jersey May 2, he was 4-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored, and against third-seeded Montclair State May 3, he went 1-for-4 and drove in a run.
