WAYNE, N.J. – Football senior quarterback Ryan Gresik (Newton, N.J./Newton) was named the Oct. 7 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.

Gresik was 34-for-52 for 519 yards and five touchdowns Oct. 5 against Morrisville State. He shattered WP’s single-game passing yardage record (398, Rob Warchol vs. Cortland, 10/20/01) and tied the program’s single-game touchdown passes top mark (five, Dan Lamego at U.S. Merchant Marine, 9/15/07). Gresik also surpassed Matt Marshall’s career touchdown passes mark of 33 (2008-09), increasing his total to 36.
