WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball senior guard Rick DeStefano (Marlboro, N.J./Marlboro) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Jan. 14.
 
DeStefano scored 16 points and added three assists during a 65-64 upset victory at No. 7 Ramapo Jan. 9.  He then had a game-best 14 points on 4-for-7 (.571) shooting from three-point range in a 61-48 victory Jan. 12 against Rutgers-Camden.
