WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s swimming junior Edward Zappile (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Nov. 8.

Zappile was a double winner in the 200 (1:55.25) and 500 (5:17.5) frees during a 147-123 victory at Purchase Nov. 1. He also touched first in the 500 (5:16.18) and 1,000 (10:55.81) frees in a 111-104 win against SUNY Maritime Nov. 3.
