William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer Kim Runge joined the William Paterson volleyball staff as an undergraduate assistant coach for the 2012 season.

A two-time member of the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) First Team (2010-11), Runge led the Pioneers with 3.54 kills per game and ranked second with 3.69 digs per set and 26 service aces as a senior.  As a two-year Pioneer, she played in 51 matches (195 sets) and averaged 3.33 kills and 3.51 digs per set.

A transfer after playing two seasons at Ramapo College, she was a three-time first-team all-league selection at Northern Valley Regional-Demarest High School and helped lead the Norsmen to four county titles and the 2006 state championship.  A native of Closter, N.J., Runge is completing a bachelor’s in physical education at William Paterson.
