Dylan Caruso joined the William Paterson volleyball program as an assistant coach for the 2020 season.
Caruso served as an assistant coach at state powerhouse Secaucus High School from 2011-19. During that time, Caruso helped lead the Patriots to six Hudson County Tournament Championships (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018), six NJIC Liberty Division titles (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018) and a Group 1 State Championship in 2014.
Off the court, Caruso works for the Secaucus Public School District as a mathematics teacher.
Caruso graduated from Ramapo College in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a minor in economics. His mother, Patricia, and sister, Kendall, are both graduates of William Paterson University. Kendall was a four-year standout for the Pioneers and holds program records for both career assists (3,035) and assists per set (8.55).
