William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer Amanda Lembo joined the William Paterson volleyball staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2019 season.

Lembo (2015-18) was the winner of WP's 2018-19 Senior Scholar-Athlete Award, given to the graduating senior student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA. Selected to the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Honorable Mention following her senior season and a Dean's List student every semester at WP, she started 100 of 108 career matches and collected 634 kills. Lembo was named to the 2018-19 Academic All-NJAC First Team and the 2016-17 and 2017-18 Academic All-NJAC Honorable Mentions.

A member of Chi Alpha Sigma, the national student-athlete honor society, Lembo graduated summa cum laude in May with a double major in English and elementary education.
