William Paterson University Athletics

Imran Khansia is in his ninth season as William Paterson’s assistant tennis coach in 2016.
 
During his time at WP, he has helped to mentor two-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) all-American (2013, 2015) and three-time New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Year (2013-15) Brittany LaBruna, as well as NJAC all-singles honoree Christina Puleo (2011-12) and all-doubles selections Samantha Miller (2011-12) and Kristy Daubert (2013-14).

Khansia has been playing the sport since childhood, but an injury has kept him off the competitive circuit. A former volunteer at the Steve Berger Tennis Camp in North Bergen, he enjoys mentoring student-athletes on and off the courts.

Khansia works for Verizon as a network sales consultant.
