William Paterson University Athletics

A former Division I player at Delaware State University, Sade Bowen is in her fourth season as an assistant coach at William Paterson during the 2013-14 campaign and is once again working with the Pioneer forwards.

Bowen competed in 30 games for the Lady Hornets in 2007-08 after transferring from Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College, where she was a second-team all-conference selection. She helped lead Orange High School to four Northern Hills Conference championships, and was a 2004-05 first-team all-area pick and a member of the 2003-04 All-Area Second Team. Second in the state in rebounding during the 2003-04 season, Bowen was a two-time first-team all-Northern Hills Conference selection who tallied more than 1,000 points during her scholastic career.

A counselor at numerous basketball camps and clinics, Bowen earned an associate’s degree from Coffeyville in 2007, and a bachelor’s in sports management from Delaware State in 2009.
