William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer CeCe Green joined the William Paterson women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach for the 2021-22 season.
 
Green competed for two seasons (2017-19) for WP, averaging 7.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.9 steals while starting 50 of 54 appearances. She was named to the 2018-19 All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Honorable Mention after averaging 9.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 2.0 steals per contest as a senior.
 
An academic all-NJAC honoree, she graduated from William Paterson in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in criminology and criminal justice. She also completed Rutgers University’s pre-medical program in health and science, and interned and graduated from the Fit4Basic law enforcement certification program where she was named Squad Leader and was the program’s first female Guide-On. While at WP, she participated in the Pioneer Leadership Institute and the Peer Leadership Program.
