53890A former standout on the hardwood for the Pioneers, Brittany Harden  begins her second season as assistant coach for the William Paterson women’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2020-21 campaign, working primarily with the team’s forwards.

Harden (2012-16) started 83 of 105 contests, averaging 10.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.3 steals per contest. A two-time all-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) performer and three-year captain under head coach Erin Monahan, Harden finished her career with 1,109 points, and ranks sixth in free throws made (328) and eighth in steals (241) on the WP career charts.

A native of Millville, N.J., Harden is currently employed as a guidance counselor at Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology. Harden graduated from William Paterson in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and received her educational specialist and master’s degrees in professional counseling from Seton Hall University in 2018.
