Prior to William Paterson: Was a first-team all-conference and third-team all-West Jersey selection as a senior at South Hunterdon Regional H.S., collecting 785 yards rushing and 95 tackles ... A captain, he was the team’s 2007 Offensive Player of the Year and Running Backs MVP ... Named the team’s Defensive Player of the Year as a junior in 2006 and was a first-team all-conference and honorable-mention all-area and all-county pick ... Also lettered four times in both basketball and baseball ... Was a third-team all-West Jersey and a first-team all-county and all-conference honoree on the diamond as a sophomore, and an all-county and all-conference pick after batting .504 as a junior.
