William Paterson University Athletics

Terry Owens joined the William Paterson staff to work with the wide receivers during the 2013 season, and is responsible for recruiting Somerset, Middlesex, Hunterdon and Mercer Counties in 2014. 

In 2013, Owens helped tutor Mick Paye to second-team all-conference laurels. The former wide receivers coach at Pace University (2012), he led the same unit at Bryant University (2012), was the receivers coach/pass game coordinator/special teams coordinator at Cheyney University (2011), the running backs coach, video coordinator and assistant recruiting coordinator at Millersville University for the 2009 and 2010 campaigns, and the wide receivers coach at Kutztown University (1998-2001). 

A two-time all-American cornerback and four-time all-conference selection at Kutztown, Owens participated in the Dallas Cowboys’ 1998 training camp. A 2013 inductee into the Kutztown Hall of Fame, he earned a bachelor’s degree in professional writing from the school in 1998.
