Rashid Darrisaw joined the William Paterson football staff as an assistant coach in August of 2025 and will be working primarily with the safeties and secondary unit.
Darrisaw arrived at WP after a nine-year stint as an assistant coach at DePaul Catholic H.S. He spent seven seasons (2018-24) as the defensive coordinator and safeties coach after serving as the wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator from 2016-18.
Before his time with the Spartans, he was the wide receivers coach at Don Bosco Prep High School from 2014-16.
He additionally gained coaching experience at ASA Junior College and Harry S Truman High School.
Darrisaw graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2023 with a bachelor’s in business management.
