Michael Diaz entered his first season on the William Paterson football coaching staff during the fall of 2017, working with the wide receivers.
Diaz’s most recent stop was at FDU-Florham, where he served as an assistant linebackers and assistant special teams coach during the 2016 campaign. This was his second of two stints with the Devils after handling defensive line and assistant special teams coaching duties for one year (2013-14).
Between stays at FDU-Florham, Diaz joined the Passaic High School football coaching staff in 2014 where he led the offensive and defensive lines, assisted with special teams and contributed as an assistant strength, conditioning and speed coach.
Diaz played on both sides of the ball at Hillsborough High School before going on to graduate with bachelor’s degrees in history and education at Kean University in 2013.
