William Paterson University Athletics

After four seasons spent on the gridiron, former William Paterson tight end Joseph Cordato joined the staff in 2013 as an undergraduate assistant coach.

Cordato (2009-12) was named to the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Second Team after starting all 10 contests as a senior, ranking second for WP with 34 receptions and 363 yards, including one touchdown.  In 31 career games (27 starts), he caught 63 passes for 703 yards and three scores.

He is working towards completion of a bachelor’s degree in sociology at WP.
