
After playing for the Pioneers from 2008-11,
Doug Dudek joined the WP football staff as an undergraduate assistant coach in 2012. He now is in his first season as the outside linebackers coach in 2016 while assisting with recruiting efforts in Morris and Passaic Counties.
In 2011, Dudek tied for the team lead with two interceptions and six pass breakups. He finished the season with 79 tackles, 13.0 stops for a loss and 3.5 sacks and was invited to play in the All-American Bowl and D3Football Senior Classic.
The bandit had 247 tackles (32.5 for loss, 7.5 sacks), two fumbles forced, three fumbles recovered and five interceptions in 39 career games (36 starts). Dudek was the 2008 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Defensive Rookie of the Year and was a three-time second-team all-conference honoree (2009-11).
Prior to joining the WP staff, Dudek was the linebackers coach (2014-15), defensive coordinator (2014-15) and interim head coach (2015) at Passaic High School. He started his coaching career at Morris Hills High School in 2013, working with the wide receivers and defensive backs.
A native of Rockaway, N.J., and an academic all-NJAC honoree, Dudek completed a bachelor’s degree in physical education at WP in 2013.
