Dan Mena begins his fourth season as William Paterson’s offensive line coach and director of football operations in 2021. Mena previously mentored the inside linebackers in 2017 and served as video coordinator for the 2010-11 seasons.
Under Mena’s watch, offensive tackle Richie Squeo has garnered all-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) accolades in 2018 (honorable mention) and 2019 (second team).
Prior to returning to William Paterson, Mena served as the defensive coordinator at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Dumfries, Va. Mena was responsible for all facets of defensive and special team operations.
From 2012-15, Mena was an assistant at Blacksburg High School (Va.).
Mena graduated with a degree in history and secondary education from William Paterson in 2012, and completed a master's in recreation and sport sciences from Ohio University in 2015.
