Biography

Career: An all-state and all-conference selection, he has started in 80 of his 87 career appearances, hitting .314 with 21 doubles, 47 runs scored and 62 RBI.
 
2015: Named to the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association (NJCBA) Division II/III All-State First Team … An honorable-mention all-NJAC selection … Played in 27 games, starting 26 and hitting .404 (fourth in conference) with a .538 slugging percentage (fifth in league), .447 on-base percentage, 27 RBI, nine doubles, a triple and a home run … Also third in RBI/game (1.00), tied for sixth in doubles/game (0.33) and tied for seventh in hits/game (1.56) in the NJAC … Had 12 multi-hit and five multi-RBI games … Collected three hits, scored two runs and swiped a base during a 9-5 season-opening victory against Manhattanville (3/11/15) … Blasted a home run and a double, driving in three runs in a 10-6 win at Baruch (3/12/15) … Went 4-for-5 with a double, three RBI and three runs scored to help defeat Keene State, 17-7 (3/14/15) … Drilled a three-run double during a 14-10 victory against Ripon (3/17/15) … Recorded three hits in a 6-1 win against Trinity, Conn. 2014: Started all 36 games and ranked third for WP with a .287 average and 19 RBI … Hit a team-best nine doubles and scored 13 runs … Tied for eighth in the NJAC with seven sacrifice bunts … Recorded nine multi-hit and seven multi-RBI games … Went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI during a 9-3 victory against Worcester State (3/16/14) … Finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and a pair of runs scored in an 18-4 win against Endicott (3/18/14) … Hit two doubles in three at-bats with a run scored against Western New England (3/19/14) … Went 4-for-5, driving in two runs and scoring once to help defeat Denison, 7-6 (3/22/14) … Drove in three runs on two hits, including a double, against No. 10/15 Rowan (4/5/14) … Was 3-for-4 at the plate, hitting a double and driving in two runs during a 4-2 victory at New Jersey City (4/19/14) … Finished 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and run scored during the night cap against the Gothic Knights, a 5-3 win … Recorded two hits, including a double, and scored twice against Montclair State in the NJAC Tournament (5/3/14).
 
2013: Made 13 starts in 18 appearances, hitting .220 with 14 RBI and nine runs scored … Went 2-for-3 with three RBI during a 6-0 season-opening victory against Western Connecticut (3/3/13) … Drove in two runs in a 9-4 win against Manhattanville (3/10/13) … Scored twice and recorded two RBI during an 11-3 victory against U.S. Merchant Marine (3/13/13) … Was 2-for-4 with a run scored in an 11-2 win against UMass Boston (3/21/13) … Smacked a three-run double during a 7-4 victory at Stevens (3/27/13) …  Contributed a pinch-hit double to a 6-5 win against Richard Stockton (3/30/13).
 
2012: Saw action in six games as a freshman, starting five, before an injury ended his season … Was granted a medical hardship waiver … Drove in two runs in 13 at-bats, posting a .231 average … Made his college debut during a 5-4 season-opening victory against FDU-Florham (3/6/12), and picked up his first hit in a 5-2 win against Utica (3/10/12) … Hit an RBI-double during a 9-8 victory against Kansas Wesleyan (3/20/12).
 
Prior to William Paterson: Named the Big North Athlete of the Year and earned first-team all-county, first-team all-conference and third-team all-state laurels as a senior at Wayne Valley H.S. … Selected to play in the Senior All-Star Game after recording 101 career hits … Had a .429 batting average with an on-base percentage of .475 in 2011, slamming six home runs … Won the Passaic County Tournament as a junior, posting a .400 batting average and a .703 slugging percentage, earning him first-team all-county, first-team all-Tri-County Conference and second-team all-Group 3 honors … Had the most extra-base hits in Passaic County as a sophomore, batting .389 with a .743 slugging percentage on his way to spots on the All-County and All-Conference Second Teams … Competed with summer teams the New Jersey Jaguars in 2009 and the New Jersey Cardinals in 2010.
 
Personal/Academics: His father, Ken, played in the Philadelphia Phillies’ farm system (1975-76)… A member of the 2015 Capital One/College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Baseball Academic All-District 2 First Team … Inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national student-athlete honor society … Named to the 2013-14 and 2014-15 Academic All-NJAC Honorable Mentions … A Fall 2013, Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 Dean’s List student … Completed a bachelor’s degree in economics in the spring of 2015 and is currently pursuing a master’s in business administration.
