William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer Marc Palestina is in his sixth season as a William Paterson baseball assistant coach in 2021.
 
Palestina served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Paramus High School (2011-14), helping to lead the team to the 2013 North 1 Group 3 state sectional title. He also is a professional instructor (2011-present) at Luna Baseball and Softball Academy.
 
Palestina played first base for William Paterson for three seasons (2009-11) after transferring from Montclair State University, seeing action in 62 games and posting 34 RBI and 38 runs scored. Following his college playing days, he was signed by the Can-Am League’s Newark Bears in 2013.
 
A licensed real estate agent, he graduated from WP with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2011.
