Biography

Career: Named to the 2014 All-NJAC First Team … Has started 16 of his 19 appearances, catching 46 passes for 762 yards and nine touchdowns … Has thrown for 1,150 yards and eight touchdowns on 91 passes, and rushed 83 times for 493 yards and seven scores … On the WP career charts, ranks eighth in offensive touchdowns (16), ninth in total offense yardage (1,643), all-purpose yards (1,569) and scoring (96), and tied for 10th in passing touchdowns.
 
2015: Named to the USA Football Preseason All-America First Team and the Eastern Football Network Preseason All-East Team … Started eight of his nine appearances, completing 90 of 168 pass attempts for 1,155 yards and eight touchdowns while rushing 70 times for 418 yards and four scores … Was seventh in both passing yards/game (128.3) and total offense yards/game (174.8), and ninth in passing efficiency (121.1) in the conference … On the WP single-season lists, rated fifth in rushing yards/attempt (6.0), eighth in completion percentage (.536), ninth in total offense (1,593) and tied for ninth in passing touchdowns … Ripped off a 67-yard touchdown run and threw for a career-best 308 yards on 28 completions, including a 16-yard score, against The College of New Jersey (10/31/15) … Ran 18 times for a season-best 177 yards, scoring touchdowns of one, five and 85 yards, at Christopher Newport (11/7/15) … Also was 19-for-41 for 233 yards and a 48-yard TD against the Captains … Connected for 242 yards on 16 passes, throwing touchdowns of 59 and 38 yards, during a 31-27 win against Southern Virginia (10/24/15) … Pressed into service under center, going 9-for-26 for 192 yards and two touchdowns against Frostburg State (10/10/15) … Caught five passes for 65 yards at Kean (9/25/15).
 
2014: Selected to the All-NJAC First Team … Led the Pioneers with 41 receptions, 697 yards and nine touchdowns while starting eight of 10 games … Was third in yards/reception (17.0), scoring (72) and total offensive touchdowns (12), fourth in receiving yards, seventh in both receptions and longest punt return (45), and eighth in all-purpose yards (1,086) on the WP single-season charts … Was second in receiving yards/game (69.7), fourth in both scoring and scoring/TDs (7.2 points/game), sixth in kickoff return average (21.7 yards/attempt), eighth in receptions/game (4.4) and ninth in all-purpose yardage (108.6 yards/game) in the conference stats … Also averaged 5.8 yards per rushing attempt (13 carries, 75 yards) and scored three times … Returned 11 kickoffs for 239 yards and nine punts for 75 yards (8.3 average) … Surpassed the 100-yard mark in three contests … Crossed the goal line at least once in each of the final eight games … Hauled in four passes for 126 yards, including a 33-yard TD, and posted a 10-yard score on the ground during a 36-32 Homecoming victory against Salve Regina (9/20/14) … Compiled season bests of 10 receptions and 150 yards, contributing two touchdowns (38 and 18 yards) against Kean (10/18/14) … Had touchdowns of 76 and 11 yards, finishing with seven receptions and 125 yards against Cortland (11/8/14) … Had a season-long kickoff return of 60 yards in a 36-20 season-opening win at Maritime (9/5/14), and a 45-yard punt return during a 21-0 victory at The College of New Jersey (10/25/14).
 
Prior to William Paterson: A transfer from Lackawanna College where he played football … Awarded all-state, all-county and all-section honors his senior year at Suffern H.S. … Accounted for 17 touchdowns, two punt returns for scores, one kickoff return for a touchdown and two interceptions … Received all-county and all-section accolades his junior year after producing 10 touchdowns, 800 yards rushing, 715 yards passing and 300 yards receiving … Also lettered in baseball and basketball, receiving all-league and all-section baseball awards.
 
Personal/Academics: His father, Anthony, played baseball at Iona College (1984-88) … Majoring in sports management.
