Prior to William Paterson: Recorded more than 70 tackles and five sacks en route to becoming the team’s Defensive Most Valuable Player as a senior at Holmdel H.S. … Earned all-county honors in 2009 … Registered 40 tackles and two sacks as a junior … Helped lead Holmdel to a 10-1 record, reaching the 2007 conference semifinals as the only sophomore on that year’s team … Also lettered in basketball.

Academics: Named to the 2011-12 NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention … Majoring in criminology and criminal justice.
