Men's Basketball Falls at New Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The William Paterson men's basketball team (7-15, 2-13 NJAC) fell, 83-56, at New Jersey City (13-9, 9-6 NJAC) in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) road game Feb. 7.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Pioneers fell behind early after the Gothic Knights jumped out to a 20-6 advantage with 12:57 on the clock in the first half.
  • New Jersey City maintained its double-digit lead the rest of the way en route to securing the 83-56 win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Sophomore Jianni Moran (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) paced the Pioneers with 12 points.
  • Junior Londen Pope (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek) scored a career-high 10 points.
  • Freshman Demond Kinchen Jr. (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack) reeled in a team-high seven boards.
