WAYNE, N.J. - The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (9-4) earned a 159-66 Senior Day victory over FDU-Florham (0-7) on Jan. 31 at Wightman Pool.

TOP PERFORMERS:

• Andre Miguel Ovejas (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) was victorious in the 1000 free (12:46.21).
• Justin Melli (Erma, N.J./Lower Cape May Regional) posted first-place finishes in the 200 free (1:54.89) and 500 free (5:15.66).
• Nicky Byrd (Purchase, N.Y./Harrison) triumphed in the 100 back (59.81) and 200 back (2:16.18).
• Max Russell (Wharton, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) finished first in the 50 free (25.99).
• Zak Li (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) touched the wall first in the 200 breast (2:28.31) and the 200 IM (2:13.78).
• The Pioneers won the 200 freestyle relay, with efforts from Reid, Melli, Garrett D'Elia (Maywood, N.J./Hackensack), and Kane, finishing with a time of 1:41.82.
