Field Hockey Falls at Moravian

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The William Paterson field hockey team (0-5) fell at host Moravian (2-3), 5-2, Sept. 13.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Greyhounds built a 3-0 lead by the seventh minute, then tacked on a goal at the 20:53 mark.
  • The Pioneers got on the board with an Allison Ochs (Carteret, N.J./Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School) strike in the 44th minute.
  • Moravian found the back of the cage three minutes later.
  • Sophomore Ali Stoner (Branchville, N.J./High Point) connected for WP with less than five minutes remaining.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Sophomore Grace Jenkins (Bloomsbury, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) posted six stops for the Pioneers.
  • The goal by Ochs was the first of her career, and Stoner connected for her second strike of the year.
 
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson will host Western Connecticut Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 7:00 p.m.
