Women's Swimming and Diving Ranks Tenth Following Day Three of NJAC Championship

HAMPTON, V.A. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team sits in 10th place with 149 points to conclude day three of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship on Feb. 15.
TOP PERFORMERS:
  • The Pioneers placed tenth in the 200 medley relay, with efforts by senior Samantha Pricken (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley), freshman Dalisha Romero (Perth Amboy, N.J./Perth Amboy), freshman Katelyn Antonoff (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) and freshman Skylar Coleman (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn), finishing with a time of 2:02.49.
  • Senior Samantha Pricken (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) advanced to the 100 back Bonus Finals with a 1:01.08 finish in the preliminary round. In the final, she finished with a time of 1:00.70, tallying seven points for WP.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • In the 200 free preliminary round, Antonoff (2:08.60) and freshman Sarah Churchill (Washington Twp., N.J./Westwood) (2:23.17) shaved time off their previous bests.
  • Freshman Skylar Coleman (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) posted a new personal best in the 100 fly preliminary round (1:09.27).
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson returns to the Hampton Aquaplex for the final day of the NJAC Championship on Sunday, Feb. 16, with session one beginning at 9:30 a.m. and session two at 5:00 p.m.
