Women's Swimming and Diving Concludes Day Two of NJAC Championship

HAMPTON, V.A. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team sits in 10th place with 108 points to conclude day two of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship.

TOP PERFORMERS:
  • The WP quartet of senior Samantha Pricken (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley), freshman Dalisha Romero (Perth Amboy, N.J./Perth Amboy), Churchill, and Gomes finished 10th in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.85.
  • In the 400 medley relay, Pricken, Antonoff, Romero, and freshman Skylar Coleman (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) placed 10th, finishing with a time of 4:33.63.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Freshman Sarah Churchill (Washington Twp., N.J./Westwood) posted a personal best in her 500 free preliminary performance (6:29.09).
  • In the preliminary round of the 50 free, freshman Frances Gomes (Kearny, N.J./Kearny) earned a personal record (28.71).
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson returns to the Hampton Aquaplex for day three of the NJAC Championship on Saturday, Feb. 15, with session one beginning at 9:30 a.m. and session two at 5:30 p.m.
