Field Hockey Upended by Stockton

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (2-13, 0-5 NJAC) was upended by visiting Stockton (10-8, 3-2 NJAC), 4-0, Oct 25.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Goals during the third and eighth minutes off penalty corners allowed the Ospreys to take an early 2-0 lead.
  • Stockton redirected a rebound at the 33:03 mark, then converted a penalty corner in the 37th minute, making it a 4-0 margin.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Sophomore Grace Jenkins (Bloomsbury, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) contributed five saves for the Pioneers.
