Field Hockey Tripped Up by Kean

UNION, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (2-10, 0-3 NJAC) was tripped up by host Kean (7-6, 1-1 NJAC), 4-0, Oct. 14.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Cougars found the back of the cage 12:50 into the contest, then built a 3-0 halftime advantage with strikes in the 20th and 27th minutes.
  • Kean added a second-half goal with an unassisted score at the 50:42 mark.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Sophomore Grace Jenkins (Bloomsbury, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) notches nine saves for WP.
 
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson will host Western Connecticut Saturday, Oct. 18, at 11:00 a.m.
