WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (2-9, 0-2 NJAC) dropped a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) home game to No. 20 The College of New Jersey (8-3, 2-0 NJAC), 6-0, Oct. 11 at Wightman Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Lions grabbed a 1-0 advantage with a goal in the seventh minute.
• TCNJ tacked on goals in the 24th and 30th minutes to extend the lead to three (3-0) heading into the half.
• The Lions pushed the advantage to six (6-0) following three goals in the third quarter.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Sophomore goalkeeper Grace Jenkins (Bloomsbury, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) made seven saves.

UP NEXT:

• William Paterson returns to action Tuesday, Oct. 14, for a conference game at Kean slated for 7:30 p.m.
