Men’s Soccer Draws Endicott, 1-1, to Start Season

BEVERLEY, Mass. – The William Paterson men's soccer team (0-0-1) played a 1-1 season-opening draw at Endicott (0-0-1) Aug. 30.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Following a scoreless first half, the Gulls struck first with an assisted goal at the 49:41 mark.
  • Senior Diego Navas (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) leveled the score at 1-1 six minutes later.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Junior Luka Misko made three saves during his WP debut.
  • Navas moved into a tie for ninth place on the WP career goals chart (26).
 
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson finishes its road trip to the Bay State Saturday, Aug. 31, with a 5:00 p.m. match at Gordon.
