WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's basketball team (2-3, 0-1 NJAC) was edged 50-48 in its New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) opener by The College of New Jersey (3-2, 1-0 NJAC) Nov. 26 at the Sports and Recreation Center.

  • The two sides were even at 48-48 with 1:49 on the clock following a pair of foul shots by sophomore Jada Jacobs (Mount Laurel, N.J./Medford Tech). However, the Lions scored just before time expired to earn the 50-48 victory.
